Dr. Aguilar’s "Why"
I led a project to use digital humans for office ergonomics training with remote office workers. This research allowed me to apply my health education background to emerging technology and developing needs in the workforce. Ultimately, one of my life-goals is to make things that help people, so this research made my brain light up! It was so engaging to merge older information with newer tech and create impactful training options for remote workers.

Favorite project
I grew up seeing stories of people who devoted their life to a big goal and turned years of small efforts into huge impacts. Growing up with asthma and living in a region with health issues, I decided to create a life of efforts focused on improving health. Whether it’s teaching, research, or program implementation, I know the work I do adds up and improves community and worker health.
